Luz Algranti holds a double major degree in Film and Theatre Studies from Buenos Aires University in Argentina and received her Master in Cultural Creation and Communication in CAECE University. She currently teaches on the Masters Degree of Electronic Arts Aesthetics in the 3 de Febrero University, Argentina.
She has worked for over 8 years as a producer for the Buenos Aires City Festival Programme coordinating the international offices including the Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Baile de Tango 2003 and 2004.
For the last 5 years she has developed theatre projects with the German Theatre Company Lubricat (www.lubricat.de) such as Mutation # 2, Mutation # 5, Zornige Menschen and How to take over; and CopyMe with German Theatre Company Gutes Tun (www.gutestun.com). She has also colaborated with the English Theater Company La Otra Gente (www.theotherpeople.org) where she co-directed Oleksandr y Anastasia with Anthony Hampton. Currently she is working on Switched On Project by Santiago Blaum for HAU Theatre, Berlin and producing a book on Performance in Visual Arts in Argentina with a grant from the Foundation for Art Initiatives, USA.
